Hi! I'm Brian, and I can help you transform your dog with personalized training, blending positive reinforcement and connection with clear boundary setting strategies
Our trainer takes the time to get to know you and your dog's situation, taking into account your dog's temperament, breed, and challenges before customizing a training approach that will create the calm, trusting environment your dog needs to deliver the behavior and obedience you desire. Brian puts his experience of using basic psychology principles over 24 years of teaching children in public schools and as a martial arts instructor to work to train your dog. He is also a certified Balanced Dog Trainer through multiple programs, and continues his education on dog training techniques daily. Teaching young children and canines are actually remarkably similar! They tend to be motivated by the same things and actually want to please their parents/owners! We lean heavily into positive reinforcement when teaching both kids and dogs, and the results are powerful and often life-changing!
Training in the Charlotte area or Online!
We offer small group classes for basic obedience skills via live virtual training sessions or prerecorded training instructionals. We also offer private instruction, both virtually and in person.

Brian is absolutely amazing! I’ve had dogs previously, but always from a puppy. This time our family decided to adopt a rescue dog. We absolutely fell in love, but the dog had several issues that had to be corrected in order for us to keep her. The things I was doing were not working, and I was ready to give up.
That’s when I was referred to Brian who took the time to help me with each of the issues that I was facing. I had to look at things from the dog perspective in order to get her to do what I wanted in our household. Brian made videos for each different thing to address. He touched base frequently and gave me feedback. He made himself available and listened intently to ensure I was on the right track.
With Brian‘s help, we got most of the major issues under control and decided to keep the rescue. It’s an ongoing process and we will continue to work on training but I’m so thankful for Brian‘s help.

Our dog was barking at EVERYTHING outside ! People, cars, other dogs and driving us crazy! Despite the fact that Lexi is already 8 years old and we were doubtful that she could change, Brian was able to greatly reduce her nuisance barking within 1 WEEKS TIME. He did this all virtually, via Zoom videos and prerecorded instruction tailored to our situation. Now, Lexi barks a lot less, and when she does, gets quiet with a simple command and actually listens to us!
